Scientific may contest 2015

On 24th to 25th April 2015 the Lublin’s Department of Polish Association of Laboratory Medicine arranges the second edition of Diagnostic May Event.

The main objective of the enterprise is to encourage our young collegues, pursuing educational career, to carry on active participation in conferences and conventions dedicated to laboratory diagnostics topic. The goal, in particular, covers the opportunity to present talented speakers to Fellows of Association.

Diagnostic May Contest 2015 has been taken under patronage by Elżbieta Puacz PhD – President of National Chamber of Laboratory Medicine in Poland.
President of Polish Association of Laboratory Medicine – Bogdan Solnica PhD MD, Fellowes of Assosiation for Treatment of Severe Hemorrhages, and Saint John of Dukla Cancer Center.

The leading sponsor of the event is Roche Diagnostics Poland, furthermore the enterprise has been supported by Sysmex Poland, DiaHem Diagnostic Products, Bio‐Rad Poland, Novo Nordisk Pharma, Randox Laboratories Poland, SARSTEDT and SYNEVO LABORATORIES Medicover.

CONTEST RULES:

  1. The first phase of the Contest was based on gathering nominations for adequate participants below 40 years of life.
  2. Nominations has been submitted by collegues across Poland.
  3. In the first phase which was implemented from October 1st to December 15th there were 13 official participants submitted.
  4. The Contest Final in the form of Diagnostic May 2015 Conferention will take place on April 24th‐25th in Lublin, Poland.
  5. Lecturers ‐ participants of the contest would conduct lectures scoping the issues of hemostasis.

VOTING REGULATIONS:
  1. After listening to all lectures, the participants are going to vote for best lecturers by their recognition.
  2. Every participant would be able to vote. The system provides 26 votes (twice the number of candidates).
  3. After counting votes lecturers endowed with the higher number of votes would take Ist, IInd and IIIrd place respectively.

PRIZES*:

1st place: 2000 PLN (approx. 500 €)

2nd place: 1500 PLN (approx. 350 €)

3rd place: 500 PLN (approx. 100 €)

*The Prizes are going to be paid as remuneration for conducting lecture upon the written agreement.
